According to articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation, Danske Ports is obliged to make a range of information available to you as a data subject. In the following, you can read about how we process your personal data.

Purpose of processing your personal data
Danish Ports continuously recruits new employees. Likewise, Danish Ports strives to be open to internships, work trials or similar schemes.
To manage the administration of the recruitment process, we process your personal data.
Legal basis for the processing of your personal data
The processing of your personal data is, for general data, necessary for the performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b)) and, for sensitive data, for Danske Ports' compliance with labor, health and social law obligations and specific rights (art. 9(2)(b))
Recipients of your personal data
Your personal data is treated with respect and we endeavor not to disclose it unless we are legally obliged to do so or if it is necessary to pursue the purposes described above. In that case, the disclosure will be based on the stated legal basis.
Data processors
Danske Havne seeks to have as transparent processing of your personal data as possible, which is why you are presented below with the data processors we use. The data processors handle your personal data according to Danske Ports' instructions and can only use your data for the stated purpose.
Danske Havne uses the following data processors of relevance to your personal data:
All the data we process about you is stored in our electronic archive, which is managed by an external supplier, KIMO CONSULT ApS. KIMO CONSULT ApS is a data processor and may therefore only process data according to our instructions. KIMO CONSULT ApS ensures that our data is stored safely and securely.
Storage of your personal data
Your personal data is stored on our server. Only to a limited extent will the data appear in physical documents if the specific processing requires this.
Deletion
All personal data that we may collect about you in connection with the recruitment process will be included in your personnel file if you are hired by us. This information will then be stored for as long as you are employed and for up to 5 years after your resignation.
If you are not offered the job, we will generally delete your application 6 months after you have received a rejection. We will only keep your application in order to be able to answer any subsequent questions you may have regarding the recruitment process for the current vacancy.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of information about you.
- You have the right to access the data we process about you and a range of additional information.
- You have the right to have inaccurate information about yourself corrected.
- In exceptional cases, you have the right to have information about you erased before the time of our regular general erasure occurs.
- In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you have the right to restrict processing, we may in future only process the data - except for storage - with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
- In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data.
