Danish Ports' Executive Committee
Danish Ports has three main committees. DirektørForum, FiskeriForum and Forum for smaller ports. The committees are appointed by the Board of Directors and are tasked with making recommendations to the Board on the development of the association's general policy within their areas. Professional networks for subject matter experts
Danish Ports has created 3 networks on professional topics. Environment and Technology, Maritime issues and Administrative issues. Members of the professional networks on administration, environment and nautical issues are the professional experts in the ports. The professional networks meet regularly for full or half theme days, where the topics are put on the agenda by the members. The professional networks are also used by the secretariat for professional sparring on specific cases, such as consultation responses.

International representation
To promote the business policy interests of its members, Danish Ports is a member of the international port organization European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) and the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC). Danske Havne's secretariat and members participate in the professional committees and thereby promote Danish interests in European legislation.

Councils and committees
Danish Ports are represented in ministries' special committees for processing EU legislative proposals in the Danish EU procedure. In addition, Danish Ports and its members sit as representatives in the working groups and complaint boards of ministries and agencies.
