On the west coast of Jutland alone, over 1,000 tons of waste is removed every year. A new campaign brings together beachgoers, sailors and fishermen to fight for a litter-free ocean.

Work on a new maritime plan has begun
Denmark does not yet have an actual marine spatial plan. The purpose of the work is therefore to establish the framework for Denmark's first marine spatial plan. The maritime spatial plan will determine which Danish waters can be used for offshore energy development, shipping, fishing, aquaculture, offshore mining and environmental protection up to 2030.
