The 2018 Port Conference will be held at the Port of Esbjerg, which over the years has been able to adapt in line with market developments. "The port sector is currently experiencing a huge development. Ports have evolved into more than just recipients of ships," says Ole Ingrisch, Port Director at the Port of Esbjerg and Chairman of the Danish Ports Association, and continues, "Ports have become clusters with specialized activities that are more than just goods over the quay. The 2018 Ports Conference highlights some of the trends I see in the port sector." Minister of Transport Ole Birk Olesen will also be attending the Ports Conference 2018 and will share his views on the transformation of ports. The excitement will also be triggered when the Minister of Transport, Ole Birk Olesen, announces the three winners of the Danish Ports Association's photo competition on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Danish Ports Association. The Ports Conference is organized in collaboration with CBS Maritime, who will help guide the participants through their views on the transformation of ports and the opportunities that lie ahead.
