Consultation Response on the Implementation of the EU Recognition Directive—Quality Requirements for Environmental Measurements

Danske Havne wants to be involved when the Danish Nature Agency develops new guidelines on quality requirements for sediment. Currently, the guidelines for disposal apply. However, the new management framework for sediment could lead to new guidelines if analysis requirements and results are to apply to bypass, recovery, and disposal alike. For Danish Ports, it is absolutely crucial to ensure proportionality in the conditions. Analysis requirements must be based on reasonable suspicion.
