Executive order on port state control of ships
Control of sulphur content in fuel must not become a competitive parameter. The level of control should be high and uniform. Danish Ports finds that there is a need for coordination and best practice in the area of port state control. The level of control must be uniform, whether the ship calls at a Danish port or another port in our neighboring countries. The aim must be to ensure that inspections do not become a competitive parameter in relation to which ports the individual ships call at.
