Executive Order on Port State Control of Ships

Control of sulphur content in fuel must not become a competitive parameter. The level of control should be high and uniform. Danish Ports believes that there is a need for coordination and best practice in the port state control area. The level of control must be uniform, whether the ship calls at a Danish port or another port in our neighboring countries. The aim must be to ensure that control does not become a competitive parameter in relation to which ports the individual ships call at.
