Danish Ports' Working Environment Day 2023

In the workplace, you and your colleagues work towards a common goal, but your different personality types give you different expectations and wishes for cooperation. Work environment work requires an understanding of the different types, as they are often part of the dynamics behind many of the cooperation problems and conflicts that arise in the workplace. The presentation gives you insight into how knowledge of the different personality types can help to understand, prevent and resolve type-related conflicts and thus achieve a better working environment.

9:15-12:00: “You're not my type, but we still have to work together”
12:00-12:30: Lunch
12:30-1:30 PM: Update on new legislation and what's happening in the area of occupational health and safety
1:30 p.m.-3:15 p.m.: Offensive actions in the workplace
3:15 PM-3:30 PM: Closing and thanks for today. There will be a break during the morning presentation and a coffee break during the afternoon presentation.

It is crucial for a good working environment and cooperation that employees in the workplace are able to handle disagreements and prevent conflicts. All too often, conflicts lead to damaged relationships and abusive actions, which are associated with serious personal, relational and organizational consequences. Get inspiration on how the occupational health and safety organization (AMO) can best support a culture where colleagues are able to disagree professionally and prevent unresolved conflicts from leading to abuse. You will gain knowledge about how the AMO should respond if there are abuses in the workplace. The content of the presentation is based on concrete experiences and the latest legislation in the field.
