Sunday, September 21
Morning: Flight to Helsinki.

Afternoon: Visit to the Finnish Maritime Museum, Forum Virium (innovation hub for smart
city solutions, including port technology), or a guided tour in Helsinki with a focus on port
infrastructure and the city’s green solutions.

Evening: Dinner in Helsinki with the port (TBD).

Monday, September 22 – Emergency preparedness in Finnish Ports/Port of Helsinki
Full day session: Hear about civil preparedness in the Finnish ports and Finnish port law by
authority/port (TBD).
Port of Helsinki – Presentation of the port, including hearing about emergency
preparedness, digital logistics management and automation, electrification of terminals
and green transport solutions, drone technology for security and surveillance.

Evening/night: Ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm (overnight on board).

Tuesday, September 23 – Port of Stockholm
Morning: Visit the Port of Stockholm – Presentation of the port, including hearing about
emergency preparedness, supply in the Baltic Sea and port law as well as sustainable
solutions, shore power and CO2 reduction, digitalization and the future of port operation.

Afternoon: Walking tour of the Old Town/Vasa Museum.

Evening: Dinner in Stockholm with the port (TBD).

Wednesday, September 24 – Port of Gothenburg
Morning: Transport to Gothenburg (fast train). Visit to the Port of Gothenburg. Hear about
emergency preparedness, including cooperation police/military, drones, AI and
digitalization in port operations, green fuel strategy. Dredging projects that won ESPO
award, including financing and the port of the future.

Afternoon: Return from Gothenburg to Copenhagen/Aalborg/Billund.
