Committee posts in the European Parliament

Danish EU parliamentarians opt out of transport influence with major Danish interests The European Parliament has approved the distribution of the newly elected MEPs in the special committees. Danish MEPs have unfortunately not been interested in the transport area, which otherwise must be characterized as a Danish interest area in the trade with our European neighbors. Denmark's neighboring countries Finland, Sweden and Germany have had it as a special priority. This presents a particular challenge for Danish ports in connection with the processing of port-relevant legislation on state aid, fair competition, market access and EU subsidies for infrastructure. With the Fehmarn project, investments in environmentally sound transport in the Baltic Sea region and upcoming revisions of regulations, there are also major interests to defend.
