Kick-off of Folkemødet in Copenhagen Harbour

The People's Meeting on Bornholm will shortly clear the media, holiday calendars and host a number of decision-makers who will be heading to Bornholm. But the Blue Denmark is now taking advantage of the fact that we are by nature extremely mobile. Therefore, we welcome you to a sneak preview where Folkemødet goes 'on tour'. Even if you can't find hotel rooms, ferry capacity and time in your calendar for a trip to Bornholm, you don't have to miss Folkemødet. The People's Ship Maja will dock at Amaliehaven (Larsens Plads/Toldbodgade) on Tuesday, June 14. Come and join us as we kick off Folkemødet right in the middle of our capital. There will be new knowledge, exciting debates, fun quizzes and snacks - just like on the rocky island. On Tuesday, June 14, at 14:15, we will focus on education and career opportunities in Denmark's largest export cluster - Blue Denmark. 14.15: Welcome, directors from the Danish Shipowners' Association, Danish Maritime and Danish Ports. 14.20: "A world of difference" Anne Bay Riisager from the World Careers campaign talks about career paths to the Blue Denmark. 14.35: "The Maritime Craftsman of the Future" Marianne Eltong Gade from the project of the same name talks about what the future holds. 14.50: "Are the right skills available for Blue Denmark in the coming years?". Debate between Henrik Kjærgaard, vice-chair of Dansk Metal, and Jakob Engel-Schmidt, education and research spokesman for the Liberal Party. 15:15: "Sinking battleships - who is the best admiral?". Summer quiz between Jakob Engel-Schmidt and Lea Wermelin, port spokesperson for the Social Democratic Party. 15:40: Thank you for today. There is room on board Maja for both good and bad weather. Either way, we'll provide snacks and drinks to keep everyone comfortable.
