DirektørForum is intended as a professional forum for port directors from the 20 largest member ports. As a starting point, DirektørForum meets once a year for a 24-hour seminar with internal or external professional input, preferably themed according to the wishes of the members. As a starting point, the seminar is held in connection with one of the member ports. The seminar is expected to be held in the spring. In addition to the seminar, a single Brussels Day is held every year, where the Director Forum in Brussels is updated on relevant European issues and considerations from the European Commission, including relevant grant programs. Every other year (in the fall), DirektørForum goes on a study trip of 3-7 days. The content of the study trip is determined in collaboration with the secretariat. The study trip takes place in the fall after the general meeting. Finally, the CEO Forum can meet for full or half theme days of relevance to the members. Here, too, the content is determined in collaboration with the secretariat. Travel and accommodation expenses for participation in theme meetings and study trips are paid by the participating ports.
