The Port of Aabenraa has elected its new board for the coming election period 2018-2021. The board consists of four political representatives, three business representatives and one employee representative. The Port of Aabenraa has increased the number of business representatives from two to three.

The Port of Aabenraa is a municipal self-government port, which means, among other things, that the port's board of directors is elected for a term of office that follows that of the municipal council. Therefore, there is also a likelihood that in connection with the municipal elections there will be changes in the composition of the board, especially for the politically elected members. There will be a change among two of the four political members, with Christian Gramstrup Lauridsen and Michael Christensen stepping down from the board, leaving their seats to Ida Smed Metze and Povl Kylling Pedersen. There has also been a change in relation to the business representatives, with the municipal council deciding to increase the number of business representatives from two to three. The Board of Directors of the Port of Aabenraa 2018 - 2021: The four political members are

  • Erwin Andresen (Slesvigsk Parti), Chairman of the Board
  • Thomas Andresen (Left)
  • Povl Kylling Pedersen (Social Democratic Party)
  • Ida Smed Metze (Danish People's Party)

Employee representative:

  • Lars Østergaard.

The three business representatives are

  • Lars Rolner
  • Niels Bergh-Hansen
  • Poul Bruun
