Draft proposal for the Address Act

August 11, 2016

Some harbor areas are "white spots" on the GPS as there is insufficient mapping. This is especially true for areas close to quays. Therefore, Danish Ports has for a long time worked for quay numbers to be an address that can be used by drivers who need to get to ships and not least in connection with accidents and incidents. Danish Ports has suggested to the Danish Agency for Data Supply and Efficiency that the possibilities of pulling information from existing sources should be examined when the Address Act is to be put into practice.
