Danish Ports, together with the maritime organizations, have worked for more flexible rules for seafarers. Now that the Ministry of Justice has taken over the area, there are finally more flexible rules that take into account the ports' reception obligation and more flexible handling of seafarers. The rules will make it easier for shipping companies and seafarers to change crews in Denmark. It is therefore also a simplification of rules that makes it more attractive to call at Danish ports.
