New liability limits for smaller ships

Raising the liability limits for small ships makes sense. But not when it comes to wrecks It makes sense that smaller ships can get cheaper insurance because the risk of very extensive damage is lower than for large ships. But even small ships can cause damage. Therefore, it is necessary and sensible that the Danish Maritime Authority will raise the liability limits to keep up with the general price development. However, Danish Ports calls for the same limits not to apply to wrecks. See Ports Denmark's consultation response here.
