Danish Ports is concerned about the designation of the Danish Nature Agency's six selected marine areas in the Kattegat as Natura 2000 The Danish Nature Agency is designating six selected marine areas in the Kattegat as Natura 2000. This may affect the operations and interests of Danish ports, as the areas will be free from dredging, raw material extraction and fishing with bottom-dragging gear. Danish Ports is concerned about the proposal and not least that the authorities do not disclose anything about economic and practical consequences. See the consultation material here.
