Security of supply tax - tax on fuel
A new security of supply levy could increase cross-border trade in wood pellets, wood chips and biomass. It could disrupt an efficient and well-knit distribution network through ports. The environmental and climate consequences of shifting transport from sea and short-distance overland to longer-distance overland should be included in the overall assessment of the impact of the proposal.
