Proposal for the EU Transport Agenda 2014-2020

Danish Ports' legislative proposals for the EU transport agenda In connection with the elections to the European Parliament and the new European Commission, which will take office in the fall of 2014, the Ministry of Transport will try to include some Danish priorities in the EU transport agenda. In this connection, Danish Ports has submitted five proposals for priorities focusing on specific legislative initiatives, which Danish Ports would like to see in the upcoming Commission's legislative program. The five priorities are as follows:

  1. Extending the Single Market - maritime transport without barriers
  2. Continuing to seek areas for blue growth
  3. An evaluation of maritime security regulations for ports and facilities
  4. Earmarking of regional infrastructure funds
