EU consultation on noise

Noise from transport and industry is regulated in the Environmental Noise Directive, which obliges Member States to map noise from transport and industry with an associated action plan. Under the slogan "Better Regulation", the European Commission has chosen to evaluate, among other things, the Environmental Noise Directive (END) to articulate the relevance, effectiveness and overall value of the directive.
