Danish Ports' consultation response regarding the draft executive order on "A single point of entry for manufacturing companies and state designation of industrial parks"
Danske Havne is positive about the draft executive order on "One point of entry for manufacturing companies and state designation of industrial parks," which supplements the bill.
It is important that companies at ports can be covered by a single point of entry and that they also have the opportunity to qualify as independent or as part of a "zero-emission project." Here, ports with, for example, wind turbine production, green research, CCUS, or similar should hopefully be able to enter into partnerships with companies at the port.
We also consider it very positive that all companies located in a state-designated industrial park are covered by the designation "national interests."
In addition to providing sufficient space, the commercial port will also ensure, as far as possible, that the space is of sufficient quality for the specific purpose and that there is access to relevant services that enable projects and green businesses to be realized and succeed. In this context, the commercial port sees itself as a foundation for the green transition.
Danske Havne therefore urges that the associated regulatory approvals be processed with the necessary speed so that the projects are not delayed, made more expensive, or unnecessarily complicated. It is unclear whether this can be written directly into the executive order, but it would be highly desirable if it could be mentioned.
Sincerely,
Camilla Rosenhagen
