Payment rules for wastewater utilities

Changed payment rules for water will mean that large water consumers will pay relatively less for their water consumption. Danish Ports welcomes the fact that the competitiveness of production companies can be strengthened. A final model is yet to be decided, but for Port Denmark it is a prerequisite that no changes are made to charging practices. Billing for water must remain a matter between the water supply and the individual company - regardless of whether the port owns the main connection. See the consultation response here.
