Remuneration to the chairman

The municipal council can set a fixed remuneration of up to 25% of the mayor's salary in the municipality in question if the port's cargo turnover exceeds 0.1 million tons or if the fish landing value exceeds DKK 100 million. If the activity is smaller, a maximum remuneration of 15% of the mayor's salary can be granted.
