Remuneration for members of the boards of municipal self-government ports is regulated in the Executive Order on remuneration etc. for members of the boards of municipal self-government ports.

The law sets the limits, and the local council sets the remuneration within these limits. The municipal council decides each year, when the turnover figures are known, how the board should be remunerated.
