What you need to know about ISPS and security
Danish ports must secure the ports against terrorism, which means that the ports must prepare vulnerability assessments and security plans.
Based on an inspection in December 2018, the European Commission notified the Danish Transport, Construction and Housing Authority (TBST) that the rules will be changed so that consultants who prepare vulnerability assessments must be recognized security organizations (RSO). RSOs cannot approve security plans.
On this basis, the following executive orders for the security of port and harbor facilities have been amended.
Based on this, TBST has also prepared an application form for RSO and guidelines for the approval of recognized security organizations. You can read more about the requirements for RSOs and download the application form and guidelines here.
