Worth knowing about access to documents

On January 1, 2014, a new Public Access to Information Act came into force. The law includes all companies with at least 75 percent public ownership in the rules for access to documents, thus including all ports with public ownership. Publicly owned limited company ports have been able to apply for exemption from the rules individually.  

Anyone can request access to documents from the port without giving reasons for the request.
