Is the port required to provide welfare facilities for port workers?

Port owners are responsible for providing welfare facilities for port workers. This was determined by the Danish Working Environment Authority in 2002, with reference toExecutive Order No. 181 of May 18, 1965, on regulations for the loading and unloading of ships, Sections 22–26, as well as Section 33(4). The Ministry of Employment most recently confirmed the continued validity of these regulations in 2004.
