Is the port obligated to provide welfare facilities for dockworkers?

Port owners are responsible for establishing welfare facilities for port workers. This was decided by the Danish Working Environment Authority in 2002 with reference to Executive Order no. 181 of May 18, 1965 on regulations for loading and unloading of ships §§ 22-26, and § 33, paragraph 4. The Ministry of Employment confirmed the continued validity of the rules in 2004.
