Purpose of processing your personal data
As part of Danske Havne's daily management of our members' political interests, we process personal data collected from the daily media, including social media. This service is provided by the company www.retriver.dk, which is an independent data controller.
The collection varies daily, which is why Danske Havne cannot comply with its duty of disclosure to the individual data subject and has instead chosen to publish this policy.
Legal basis for the processing of your personal data
The processing of your personal data is based on the pursuit of a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in the form of political representation of the interests of the members of the Danish Ports Association.
It is noted that the information collected has been published by the data subjects via public social media.
Recipients of your personal data
Your personal data is treated with respect and we endeavor not to disclose it unless we are legally obliged to do so or if it is necessary to pursue the purposes described above. In that case, the disclosure will be based on the stated legal basis.
Data processors
Danske Ports seeks to have as transparent processing of your personal data as possible, which is why you are presented below with the data processors we use. The data processors handle your personal data according to Danske Ports' instructions and can only use your data for the stated purpose.
Danske Havne uses the following data processors of relevance to your personal data:
All electronic documents are stored on external servers. These servers are managed by our data processor KIMO CONSULT ApS, Gammel Kongevej 11, 3rd floor, 1610 Copenhagen V, Denmark. CVR no. 31478073.
Storage of your personal data
Your personal data is stored on our mail server managed by Kimo Consult.
Deletion
The data is continuously deleted from Danske Havne's servers after 1 month.
Danske Havne has the option of re-extracting data processed by Retriver if this is relevant and necessary.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of information about you.
- You have the right to access the data we process about you and a range of additional information.
- You have the right to have inaccurate information about yourself corrected.
- In exceptional cases, you have the right to have information about you erased before the time of our regular general erasure occurs.
- In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you have the right to restrict processing, we may in future only process the data - except for storage - with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
- In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data.
