Port Conference 2022 - Port of the Future
Is the port of the future both green and blue, with sun, wind, sand and water? Or more city and countryside? The port conference asks the questions and offers some well-prepared answers.
On April 25 and 26, Musikkens Hus in Aalborg will be the setting for the Danish Ports Association's major Port Conference.
Port of Aalborg hosts the conference and invites all ports, political actors, partners and players in the freight transport chain to a couple of active conference days, where everyone will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Danish commercial ports and find good solutions to interesting dilemmas.
The city is well-chosen, as the Port of Aalborg is a growth dynamo and a modern port that is both a hub for traditional shipping and one of the key players in Denmark's large and growing offshore wind turbine success. Green transition is a core focus at Danish ports, and the Ports Conference also marks the release of Danish Ports' second publication on "Green Business Ports". The first of the annual reports was published last year.
At this year's Port Conference, entitled "The Port of the Future - the framework, the customers, the city and the climate", there will be professional and political presentations, political debate between key players in transportation policy from the Danish Parliament and this year's Sustainability Award will be presented.
Exhibitor spaces will be available to the extent permitted by the organizer's premises. Associate members will generally have priority access to exhibitor spaces.
